Rikishi vs. Val Venis
WWF
Fully Loaded, Sunday, July 23, 2000, Dallas, Texas

The first competitor to exit the
cage or score a pinfall would be considered the winner. Early on,
Rikishi went for the Stink Face, but Val retaliated with a low blow.
Even so, Val was eventually busted open -- he appeared to be cut
above one of his eyes. Rikishi attempted to exit the cage, but was
stopped by Val. So Rikishi delivered a Samoan drop, splashed Val
(cheeks first) in the corner and then gave him a vertical splash
off the second rope. Val managed to get his foot on the ropes on
two. With Val down, Rikishi once again tried to escape the cage,
but this time Trish slammed the cage door in his face. Minutes later,
Lita appeared and whipped Trish repeatedly with the belt all the
way back to the locker room. Referee Chad Patton chased after Trish
and Lita. Meanwhile, the referee inside the ring, Teddy Long, was
inadvertently knocked out. Rikishi and Val both tried to climb the
cage, and Rikishi slammed Val's head into the cage, sending Venis
flying down to the canvas. Standing on the top rope, Rikishi looked
down at Val seemed to get an idea. He climbed to the top of the
cage, looked down for several seconds ... and then jumped off and
splashed Val off the top of the cage! Rikishi seemed to be almost
as hurt as Val, however. The challenger crawled over to the cage
door, but Tazz appeared, stole a camera, and clobbered Rikishi with
it! A nearly unconscious Val managed to drape one hand over Val,
and Teddy Long recovered enough to administer the three count. Val
and Rikishi were both badly hurt after the match.
